The amethyst dragon figure looks beautiful from far away, but once you pick it up, you'll see all the minor problems. The wings look as if they are "set" on there with regular glue, and the wings wobbled. You could tell they never even attempted to hide the glue marks. As soon as we got the figurine out of the box to check and wrap, every bit of glitter fell off our little dragon. I'd return it if I could, but I already gave the christmas present to my friend. She enjoyed it, but noted all the problems with it as well.

The issues other reviews addressed are valid; the purple is just glitter, and the wings are made separately and attached with some kind of glue, but honestly, what does one expect for a figurine at this price? Maybe I'm not a "serious collector," but I think it's a cute addition to my collection, despite my being over the age of twelve. :-P

I didn't notice anything wrong with my dragon figurine. The only thing I would note is that it's a little smaller than I'd expected. The seller packaged the item very well, and it arrived in perfect condition. I don't think the picture of it does it justice it is so beautiful. The purple part is all glitter, which I couldn't tell in the picture but it's absolutely beautiful!

Beautiful figurine, and in pristine condition. If anything, this seller is ocd. Product was packaged so carefully that it would have to be hit by a truck in order to cause damage.

This Dragon Figurine is fantastic. My daughter collects dragon statues and figurines, and her birthstone is the Amethyst so this made a perfect birthday gift, ( Along with two other dragons which I found ). She loved the figurine and that made me feel good because she is hard to buy for.
It really is a neat looking dragon, and it was done well; the craftmanship is perfect.
